We meet on the second Thursday of alternative months at 7:30pm in the Village Hall 

 

A new booklet on the early history of the village has been produced by Stuart Sizer and this will be on sale in due course.

​

Due to rising costs the entrance fee is now £3.00 per person which includes refreshments in the interval.

Thursday August 10th ‘Doing Archaeology’

David Start, archaeologist and former CEO of Heritage Lincolnshire, takes us through the processes involved in archaeological investigations, with specific
reference to our own project in the field north of St Helens.

Thursday 14th September, ‘The Witham: Lincolnshire’s River’

Jon Fox. A slideshow presentation from Jon’s book of the same name which
is beautifully illustrated with his photographs.

Thursday 9th November, ‘Medieval Farming, with special reference
to Ridge and Furrow’,

Professor Mark Gardiner, University of Lincoln.
